July 2007 Meeting
July 2007 Meeting
Monday, June 16, 2007, Networking 6:30 PM, Program 7:00 PM
Location: The Santa Clara Fire Dept. Training Center/Fire Station 2
1900 Walsh Ave., Santa Clara
Cost: Free to members and first timers, $25 non-members
Detailed Program:
You call that a website?
A critical review of various wedding videographer websites (including yours, if you wish). Webmaster and professional designer Tim Ware of Hyperarts will offer his subjective review of what works and what doesn't on a video web-site. Tips, hints and tricks will be offered, as well as inspiring ideas. Don't miss it!
Take 12: Working with Non-Actors
As independent producers, we don't often have the luxury and budget of working with professional actors. That doesn't mean that your talent's performances need to be dull and wooden. BAPVA member Jim Richardson show us his proven techniques for getting the best out of your corporate types, wallflowers, and drama kings/queens.
* Bonus staging tip: How to always capture that 'money shot' when the tear rolls down the bride’s face, which is not always just after she says, 'I do.'
Introducing Unique Media
Jim Snow, VP of Marketing for Unique Media will be sharing his tips on DVD authoring- from encoding to packaging, as well
as information about his company's services that could benefit your next project. BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! A free CD will be given to each attendee with great utilities for processing and fixing DVDs.
